Lady Gaga

I love Lady Gaga. Period, end of story. Tickets went on sale months ago and my friends and I jumped at the chance to get tickets. We all had a great time. We met at Thaifoon at Gateway before the concert for some amazing food (salmon and asparagus...mmm) and then headed to Energy Solutions Arena for the concert. I was initially really bugged because after the opening act we had to wait an hour and half for Lady Gaga to come out, so ridiculous, but it was worth the wait though. I love most all of her songs so we all enjoyed dancing around and singing her songs. All these pictures were taken with my cell phone so I'm not sure what the black border around them is, but oh well.

Like Gaga says, "put your paws up, baby"
Me, Marie, Katie and Monica at Thaifoon

Jill, Jason and Kristie. I love Kristie's shirt that she made "LG" Lady Gaga

At one point during the show Gaga was just a bloody mess which was interesting, but entertaining nonetheless. She has a killer voice that's for sure. I loved when she just sang and played the piano. She is so talented.

Thanks Gaga for putting on a great show!

Las Vegas, Disneyland and Salvation Mountain

For the past 2 years we've gone to Disneyland with Erin and Danny Cornia; this year Cory and Kristie Lucking came and we had such a blast! We stopped in Las Vegas on the way down, yes, we drove to California, and had a great time. We shopped, went out to eat, the boys golfed and we even did some country dancing and then headed to California. We stayed in Indio, which is just outside of Palm Springs. We stayed at this beautiful resort which I loved. It had 5 hot tubs, a big swimming pool and a lazy river...amazing!

I love Disneyland at night. It just seems so magical with all the lights, music and yummy food. I just love it! Waiting in line for the Tower of Terror - best ride in the entire park

Toy Story ride - we went on this at least 4 times. So fun!

The boys BBQ'ing on the balcony

Love these two girls

"Into The Wild" is one of our favorite movies and the main character in the movie travels to Salvation Mountain in Slab City, CA and ever since our first time watching the movie, we've really wanted to go there; since we were in California we thought "oh what the heck, let's go!" It's the most amazing place. This old man has built this "mountain" out of random objects and painted over everything to reflect his love for God. He is the cutest old man and he just loves God so much and wants to proclaim it to the world. His mountain has been shown on National Geographic and on various TV shows and movies. This is the sign as you drive into Salvation Mountain.

God is Love

Jesus I'm a sinner. Please come upon my body and into my heart

Salvation Mountain in the background with Leonard Knight, the man behind it all. He is seriously the cutest little old man. He just made me so happy.

Love it!

If you're ever in Slab City, California, you MUST go check this out. It was on Brady's "bucket list" and I'm so glad we went. Las Vegas, Disneyland, and Salvation Mountain, were all amazing. I'm lucky to have great friends and a great husband that I can spend time with and do fun things with. I'm one lucky girl.
