Awe, the good ol' days...

Brady and I were going through some old pictures from high school the other night and came across these... If you notice in 2 of these pictures Brady somehow appears in the background. We were laughing so hard when we found these! Please just look at the first picture for a second, look at the expression on Brady's face, he's trying to be sneaky! The funny thing is, we didn't really know each other that well...WHO KNEW I WAS GOING TO MARRY HIM?!?!?!

I really like this picture of me and Alesha, but that's not why I posted it. Just take a look at Brady in the background with his red trucker hat, eating a snow cone....he snuck up again in this picture!! We didn't know he was there until I developed the picture, SO FUNNY!

Me and my friend Sarah kissing Brady on the cheek for one of his photography assignments...who knows what the assignment was!

Who knows what's going on in this picture. NO, we are not drunk, although we look like it and YES, Brady really did dress like this in high school, your eyes are NOT playing tricks on you! I have no idea what's going on with me, I look GHETTO! I remember thinking that the shirt I was wearing was SO cute, thanks Lesh for letting me always borrow it, but looking back on it, it's really not that cute! It's funny how the styles change as the years go on.

We LOVE the park!

Since Sunday was such a nice day outside and we had some time after church and before we met at my parents house for dinner, we decided to go to the park! It was so much fun! Brady really wanted to hit some golf balls, but I wasn't really in the mood, so we stopped by my parents and picked up Belle and took her with us. As you can see, she was really excited to come along, it looks like she's smiling! While Brady was practicing all sorts of shots in the grass, in the sand of the volleyball court etc., I was running around the park getting my exercise and entertaining Belle. It was a great Sunday, we can't wait for Spring and Summer to arrive!

Belle was giving me a 'run' for my money!

The Babysitters Club

So, last night Brady and I had the opporunity to babysit Bevin because Mindy and Dustin both had to work, our shift was from 5-8. Luckily Missy watched her from 2-5 so Bevin was already at my parents house, so we babysat her over there, which made it a lot less stressful! We are new to babysitting little babies, so it was a fun experience! You mothers out there really are amazing! Not that babysitting her was hard, but it is a big responsibility! Here are some pictures of us...

My mom said I probably should change her diaper because she had just woken up and I had just finished feeding her. I was hoping just for a wet one, but I opened it up she had gone #2, which I don't mind, but I have never changed a dirty diaper (I know, I'm way too sheltered). The picture above is a little exaggerated, but kind of portrays what I was feeling inside!

But in all reality, I don't care how much she cries, how dirty her diapers are or if she spits up on me because, come on, look how adorable she is!! After I changed her she was so happy and cooing and laughing that I just couldn't help myself, I tickeled her, squeezed her, kissed her and hugged her! She is adorable and I can't get enough of my new little niece!

Thanks to Mindy and Dustin for letting us watch her, she's an amazing little girl!

What?....Tag....I'm it?

I wouldn't say Britton tagged me by any means, it was more of a strangle, and once Nate did his post I knew I had no say in the matter. So, here it goes, 7 things you may or may not know about me:
1) I was always terrified of water and swimming pools growing up, I think it came from an incident when I was pushed into the deep end of a pool as a young child. So, when it came time to be baptized I was really nervous and practiced in my bathtub... the practicing didn't help.... I went down under the water and forgot to close my mouth and came out coughing up water, how embarrasing!! Not too many people can say they were baptized on the inside as well as the outside! I still, till this day, don't go under water without plugging my nose.

2) I have never had any broken bones, or ever had stitches...knock on wood!

3) I was the first batter in 14-year old Babe Ruth World Series history.

4) I hate when the white tips of my finger nails start to show...so I cut them all the time...my toe nails are another story..

5) I'm a very superstitious person...during my senior year of High School baseball, one of my parents always had to bring me a Snickers to eat before every game...talk about pressure on a parent!

6) There are two rides that I refuse to go on at Lagoon; the Ferris Wheel, and the Sky Ride(the one that takes people from one end of the park to the other, I don't think it's safe to have my feet hanging and no seat belt.) Depending on my mood, I might go on The Rocket.

7) My personal favorite... In kindergarten, I grabbed my teachers boob...only because it was part of a joke..."Mrs. Anderson, how do you scare a bee?" "Boo-Bee" and then I reached forward and grabbed her boob! Good thing I was one of her favorite students because she just laughed it off.

What's in my purse? The question is, which purse are you talking about?

I'm a purse fanatic! This is where I stash my purses, on the top shelf of my closet. I find myself going through them quite often because I like to switch my purse according to what I'm wearing. My white purse gets the most use because white seems to match everything! That's the purse I'm using at the moment...

Alesha tagged me with the "What's in your purse" tag, so here it goes~

~The book I'm reading at the moment, "The Five Love Languages."
~ iPod
~Gloves because it's SO cold in the morning waiting at the Trax station
~The polka dot case contains all my lip gloss, powder brush, bronzer, eye liner etc.
~Powder and foundation
~A hand-held Sudoku game that I play on Trax sometimes
~Spearmint Altoids...gotta have fresh breath
~Wallet
~Pepper spray in case someone tries to get physical with me
~Keys
~Cell phone
~Last, but not least, a miniature Book of Mormon that I read on the way to work ( I switch off between the two books)

Tag...You're it!

This is a random picture of us, but oh well. This is similar to my last post, so please bear with me. I got tagged by Lynae, so here goes the 7 facts about me that no one knows (except maybe my sisters, Brady or my mom).

#1. Growing up I always secretly wanted to be a tom boy and I wanted to be the best at kickball in Mr. Bauer's 6th grade class.

#2. I never "tried out" for anything (dance, sports, etc) in jr. high or high school for 2 reasons: I either felt that I was too cool or was just simply afraid of getting rejected. Sad!

#3. When I take showers or baths I come out of the bathroom looking like a bright red tomato because I love the water to be scolding hot.

#4. You won't catch me reading a newspaper, magazine, or touching any type of paper for that matter, after swimming or taking a bath. The feeling of paper on pruned, clean fingers gives me the willies! (I know, I'm really strange.)

#5. I always have to have chapstick or some sort of lip gloss on whenever I leave the house in order for me to really feel "ready" for the day.

#6. I've never lit a match in my life, it terrifies me.

#7. I never passed off parallel parking in Driver's Ed. After 11 tries, the teacher gave up and we moved onto the next test.

The Morlock Update

So, I thought you all might like to know what's going on in the wonderful world of Brady and me. We don't have too many things happening right now, but thought it would be fun to give you all a little update. Here goes nothing:

1. Brady and I just got released from Scouts in our ward and got called to team-teach the 16 and 17 year olds in Sunday School...should be fun!

2. Brady can't wait for the weather to warm up so he can go to the golf course every chance he gets. He's been working on his golf game and can't wait to put it to use.

3. We went rock climbing the other day with my sister Missy; what a great time!! I'm not very good at it, as Missy and Brady completely showed me up, but I recommend it to everyone, it is so much fun!!

4. Brady and I are planning on running in the Salt Lake City Marathon in April, although we're just shooting for the 1/2 marathon to begin with; maybe next year we can advance to running the whole 26 miles, we'll see!

5. I've started reading a new book called "The Five Love Languages" by Gary Chapman. So far it's really good. It says every person has their own "love language" and you must learn what that is and you need to learn what your spouses "love language" is as well, in order to communicate love to one another. It's very interesting and informative...I'll keep you posted...

6. We watched the Ironman Triathlon last weekend and it was so good; so inspiring! It really intrigues Brady and his interest is definitely peaked, so we are going to a free seminar in March to learn more about nutrition, training for traithlons etc.

7. With our tax return we are trying to plan a vacation/cruise. I can't wait to get out of this cold, snowy weather and into the warm sun, cool ocean breeze and feel the sand beneath my feet!

8. Last, and definitely not least, we're happy, healthy and loving life!!
