Here it is, Memorial Day morning and my big plans for the day have fallen through due to the rain. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the rain, but not when it affects my plans. I initally had planned to go swimming with my friends and sisters because today is the day that all the pools open...that obviously isn't going to happen. And then Brady and I and our friends had planned to go hiking today, bring a packed lunch and enjoy the day...that isn't going to happen either. I'm pretty much bummed out right now. It's 10 minutes to 8:00 am; do I go back to sleep for another hour or so, or start the gloomy day right now and head to the gym....Hmmm, I'll have to think about that one. Nothing is better than lying in bed, having the window cracked a little bit and listening to the rain...

You and the rain..you love it! I am so sad we couldnt go swimming! We forsure have to go on Sat. And I had to tell you the only reason there wasnt a pic of you on my tanorexia post is because I wasnt as tan senior year as junior. AND the only pic of us super tan is at graduation...shama style in our big white robs! Remember how tan we got swimming at Dusts pool? So fun! PS I saw Danny Cornia at walmart today...from a distance.
Too bad all your plans got cancelled! Dad was a bit crazy and decided he'd go on a bike ride anyway - then he called me about an hour and a half later saying, "Uncle! Can you come and pick me up?" ("Uncle" means "I give up" for those of you out there who are too young to have heard it before.) So I rescued him and off we went to a couple of matinees. Fun!
You have a darling way of expressing yourself and I loved the pictures. Hope you stayed in bed and listened to the rain - that is a luxury not often available.

Britt.....I was so mad about the rain as well. I was totally ready to whip out the swimsuit and go swimmimg but NOOOOO.... It had to be pooring rain and like 40 degrees. I feel your pain!
I know how you feel. We were having a yard sale to get ready to move... sounded like the days would have been fun :)
That was such a sad day! We had big plans too, and then we ended up sitting at home all day. By the end of the day Ryan was losing his mind so he made us just get in the car and drive. I am sick of rainy days for a little while. Sorry to hear your day wasn't much better.
I have to admit, though it would have been fun to go hiking... I LOVE THE RAIN! Monday was pure bliss for me! Sorry it ruined your plans! HOpefully you can enjoy your swimming this weekend!
Ugh, I so want this layout. From Leelou right? I keep postponing downloading it cause it says it will erase your widgets. I just don't know if I can deal with that. Did it do that to you? Lemme know. I think it was this layout or maybe the reverse of it. It's so cute!
Whenever it rains I think of you. I always think, ahhh, I wish it wasn't raining..... and then I think..... well at least Britton's happy about it Ü!!
